In various fields, for example, biology, chemistry, chemical industry, metallurgy, geology, environment and food analysis. Determination on trace metal ion has been attracting more and more attention. In all the existing methods, spectrophotometry and fluorescence quenching method had large proportion. Spectrophotometic method determination is base on the chromogenic reaction. Beer's law obeyed for the absorbance with the consistency; Fluorescence quenching method is based on the fluorescence extinguish phenomenon. Fluorone reagent is a kind of sensitive chromogenic reagent. The reagent can produce fluorescence when stimulated. In recent years, Fluorone reagent especially phenglflurone reaction with metal ion has aroused extensive interest. In this passage, we selected three kind of fluorone reagent. Four kind of new methods were built. Each method had its own feature, we will introduce each method briefly as follows:Spectrophotometric Determination on Manganese with O-C1PF.In pH=8.00-10.00 buffer solution H3BO3-Na4B2O7 medium, Manganese can react with O-C1PF to form a complex with the presence of surfactant ,which has maximum absorbance at 570nm. The apparent mole absorptivity is 9.6× 104L.mor-1.cm-1,beer's law obeyed for Manganese in the range of 0-2μg /10mL.This method has results are satisfactary.Spectrophotometric Determination on Ti With a New Chromogenic Reagent TMOPFA spectrophotometic method for determination on tin with a new chromogenic reagent TMOPF has been discussed. In acid medium, tin can react with TMOPF to form an orange-red complex with the presence of surfactant Tween40, which has absorbance maximum of 510 nm. The apparent mole absorptivity is 1.48 × 105L.mol-1.cm-1.Beer's law obeyed for titanium in the range of 0-8μg /10mL. This method has been applied to determination of tin in alloy and carbon steel with satisfactory results.Fluorescence Quenching Method of Determination on Trace Titanium with TMOPFCondition of reaction of Ti(IV) with TMOPF has been studied by fluorescence quenching method with the presence of surfactant Tween-40 and pH3.0-3.5medium. The maximum excitation and emission wavelengths of TMOPF are found to be 493nm and 530nm respectively, The method has been used to determine trace amounts of Ti(IV) insilicate minerals with high sensitivity and satisfactory results. Its liner range covers 0 -8μg /10mL in analyzed solution.Fluorescence Quenching Method of Determination on Trace Silver with DBH-PFA fluorescence quenching method with fluorescence quenching effect of DBH-PF and OP-Trion-x-100 due to formation of a non-fluoresent tertiary complex in pH7.20 buffer solution Na2HPO4-KH2PO4 medium has been built. The maximum excitation and emission wavelengths of DBH-PF are found to be 510nm and 550nm respectively. The linear range is 0-18μg /25mL. The method has good sensitivity and selectivity. This method has been applied to the determination of micro-mounts of Ag(I) in deverloper with satisfactory results.
