1, Two types thiourea resins were synthesized under microwave irradiation.One is by thiourea and dihalogenethane, the other is by thiourea, formaldehyde and hydroquinone. We investigated the resins' yield under microwave irradiation and conventional method, the structure of the resins. The results show:(1) The resin synthesized by thiourea and dihalogenethane need less time under microwave irradiation than under conventional method, when the resin reaches adsorption equilibrium under acid medium ,the adsorptive capacity on Au(UJ) can reach 200mg g-1 and the equilibrium time is only 2hrs,but the capacity on Cu2+,Ni2+,Co2+,Cd2+ ions can be ignored. We use 8% and 1mol L-1 HC1 thiourea solution wash the adsorptived resins,the resin can be reused,the multiple adsorptivity is 958% of the first time(2) The resin synthesized by thiourea,formaldehyde and hydroquinone has the higer yield and less poly-time under microwave irradiation than under conventional method, when the resin reaches adsorption equilibrium under acid medium ,the adsorptive capacity on Ag+ can reach 2.2 mmol g-1 and the equilibrium time is only 2hrs,but the capacity on Ni2+,Co2+,Cd2+ ions can be ignored, We use 8% and lmol L-1 HNO3 thiourea solution wash the adsorptived resins,the desorption rate reaches 95% and the resin can be reused,the multiple adsorptivity is 98% of the first time.2, 8-hydroxyquinoline has some advantages such as fluorescence and good capacity in co-ordination, we synthesized 5-chloromethyl-8-hydroxyquinoline.Using this as initiator,we synthesized poly(methyl methacrylate) and poly(styrene) by the method of atom transfer radical polymerization. Studying these polymers' structure and propertise ,we found the polymer's end group contain 8-hydroxyquinoline and its fluorescence and nonlinear third-order optical reinforced.
