( 1 ) The polycondensation of the 4,4-diaminodiphenyl sulfone and pyromellitic dianhydride under microwave irradiation was studied, and the resulted polyamic acid sulfone was imidized in solid phase by using microwave irradiation. Meanwhile, the effects of the microwave irradiation time, the reaction temperature, the concentration of monomers, and the monomers ratio on the intrinsic viscosity and the conversion were investigated. At the same time, the comparison of microwave irradiation polymerization with the relevant conventional thermo-polymerization was made. The results showed that under microwave irradiation, not only the time of polycondensation is shortened, but also the intrinsic viscosity and the conversion of the polycondensate are raised. The imidization time of the polyamic acid sulfone is reduced and the degree of imidization is promoted when the resulted polyamic acid sulfone is imidized in solid phase by using microwave irradiation. What is more, both the polyamic acid sulfone and the polyimide sulfone have fluorescent property. And that the polyimide sulfone has magnetic property.(2) The copolycondensation of 4,4 ' -Diamino-diphenyl sulfone (DDS), 4,4 -Oxydianiline (ODA) and pyromellitic dianhydride (PMDA) under microwave irradiation was studied, and the resulted polyamic acid was imidized in solid phase by using microwave irradiation. At the same time, the comparison of microwave irradiation polymerization with the relevant conventional thermo-polymerization was made. The results showed that under microwave irradiation, the intrinsic viscosity and the conversion of the polycondensate were raised. The imidization time of the polyamic acid was reduced and the degree of imidization was promoted when the resulted polyamic acid was imidized in solid phase by using microwave irradiation . What is more, both the polyamic acid and the polyimide have fluorescent property, and the film form property of the polymers was improved.(3) After the polycondensation of the benzoguanamine (BGA) and pyromellitic Dianhydride (PMDA) was carried out under microwave irradiation, the resulted polyamic acid was modificated through grafting. The effects of side chain length and electronic effect of the end group in side chain on the fluorescence behavior were investigated. The films of the polymers were obtained by spinning-coat method. The result showed the film form property of the polymers was improved after modified. The third-order of the NLO properties of the polymer solutions and the films were detected by DFWM technique. The third-order NLO coefficient of the films and that of the polymers solution were all improved after modification.
