| Dye water were characterized as high concentration, heavy color, high alkalinity, they also contained a large quantity of difficult -decomposition organic contaminants, and the ingredients were complex, so it was hard to cope with them. Nowadays, the treatments of dye water were classified into pHysical, chemical and biological methods. The inside-electrolyzation belonged to electricity-chemical treatments, was widely studied in recent years which was applied in dye water treatments of various scales and had made positive effects.Many factors, which affect the treatments of dye water using iron-carbon inside-electrolyzation, were the color and pH value of dye water, the ratio of the weight of the iron and carbon, the residential time of the vvastewater in the reactor, the activated properties of surface of the iron and carbon, and the reacting temperature as well. Take the model methyl-aurantium dye water for example, the optimum process conditions of iron-carbon inside-electrolyzation were the ratio of the weigh of the iron and carbon 6:1, the residential time was 60 minutes, the pH value was 8.On the basis of the basic process of iron-carbon inside-electrolyzation, several strengthening means were carried out, they were ultraviolet irradiation strengthening, salt addition strengthening, and soft manganese mine strengthening.The ultraviolet irradiation strengthening can increase the removal rate ofCOD and color of the dye water, the optimum of the irradiating time was 45 minutes. While using the salt addition strengthening, common salts of chemical pure were added into, such as A12(SO4)3, CaCl2, NaCl etc., it can not only increase the removal of COD and color ,but also shut down the reacting time from 60 to 30 minutes, the optimum dose of A12(SO4)3 and CaCl2 were 2.0g/L and 2.5g/L.While using the soft manganese mine strengthening, the powder soft manganese mine which contained 29.8% MnO2 was added into, it can remove 98% color and 94% COD of the model waste water.Comparing the three strengthening method, each of them can greatly strengthen the treatment effects, it paved the way for the afterwards processing and made for the discharge of the dye water. Among the three, the soft manganese mine strengthening was the best. |
