Aiming at the problems in municipal wastewater treatment process, this paper presents Hydrolysis and Bio-contact oxidation process based on the fact of the lower concentration wastewater in South China, and test was made on low concentration sewage treatment effect, operational property, kinetics, and so on.The test result showed that Hydrolysis and Bio-contact oxidation process can start quickly, work steadily, have low sludge production and excellent ability of bearing high impact loads .Under the normal temperature, when the hydraulic retention time(HRT) is 6h, the general removal rate of CODcr BOD5 suspended solids and ammonia nitrogen are found to be 77.6% 80.9% 88.6% 67.4%. The effluent concentration can up to national primary emission standard of wastewater (GB8978-1996) When the recycle rate is 200%, the removal rate of total nitrogen is 55.6%, and with the increase of recycle rate, the removal rate of organic ammonia nitrogen and total nitrogen will increase. In the test, a kinetics model of organic biodegradation was established , in Hydrolysis tank , which is U=0.002Se , as isin Bio-contact oxidation tank.Comparing with traditional treatment process, the costs of construction and operation of Hydrolysis and Bio-contact oxidation process is much lower, Hydrolysis and Bio-contact oxidation has reality significance on the construction and process alteration of wastewater treatment plants in South China...
