Phenol is a kind of venomousness and organic chemical raw material, it is also a kind of by-products produced by many chemical industries, it is discharged by many chemical industries, if it is discharged without being controlled strictly, it will pollute environment very much. Because of the critical effluent standard, it is more difficult to treat the wastewater contained phenol than before. The treatment methods of wastewater contained phenol are more, including physical, chemical and biological treatment method. During the bacteria treatment, because of low expense and without second-time pollution, it has become a preferring way. During the bacteria treatment, because of unique difficult degrading of phenolic wastewater, involving high efficient bacteria is a question that people always care. This needs these bacteria having strong ability in degrading phenol, and can more easily adapt to change of impact load, so that improving efficiency of degrading phenol. Basing on above questions, the article researches processing of phenol degrading bacteria phenolic wastewater. The article takes cultivation of high efficient bacteria as research object. Wastewater polluted by phenol in coal carbonization is resource of experiment. At 30 degree of temperature, number of revolution 120r/min constant temperature concussion cradle, we take experiment toward domestication, cultivation , according to size, shape, surface color, degree of build up, degree of transient, brim shape, difference of colony of incubation media. At last, we choose three groups of colonies. They are named GPS-1, GPS-2, GPS-3 respectively, thus we get three advantageous colonies. We take three experiments toward three colonies with different density phenol wastewater, and test their rate of phenol degrading and speed of phenol degrading in different time period. The results show that GPS-1,GPS-3,GPS-2 phenol 500mg/L,in the first three hours, rates of phenol are 80.93%, 71.62%,78.96%,within 15 hours, rate of phenol degrading reach 100% when density is 2000mg/L, rate of phenol degrading of these three bacteria are 93.16%,68.97%,90.52% respectively. So we can see the bacteria in the experiment have stronger capability of phenol degrading, improve the rate of phenol degrading. With shorter time and different density to compare, because of the little change, these three bacteria have stronger impact load capability. Through comparing of three bacteria phenol degrading effect, take GPS-1 bacteria as advantageous bacteria.The experiment has primary evaluation on GPS-1 bacteria. It is a pseudomonas. We have special and normal experiments on its pH, temperature, and added carbon source. The results show max combination of rate of phenol degrading of bacteria is that pH is 7, temperature is 30℃, and added carbon source (grape sugar quality density) is 1000mg/L. The experiment has compounding research on phenol degrading of GPS-1 and GPS-3. The result shows that at lower density of phenol (500mg/L), the rate of phenol degrading is improved noticeably. But the density reach higher degree (1000mg/L,1500 mg/L,2000 mg/L), its result is not noticeable. This proves intergrowth of compounding bacteria can have biggest effect at lower density.
