Water is the most valuable resource for human life and production, and is also the most important factor for continuous development of human society. But due to the rapid development of urbanization, industrialization and agricultural intensivism, furthermore, there are some misunderstandings in water resource, water pollution and wastewater recycle, water demand in many large cities is increasing, and can't meet the requirements of the city development. Pollutions overload the environmental capability in many regions, so lead to the water pollution. In addition, because of the noneffective measures for preventing water pollution and unreasonable recycle of water, the lack of water becomes a severe problem for cities. One of the most effective ways to solve this problem is recycle and reuse of wastewater.This paper is focus on wastewater utility of Baotou Beijiao Wastewater Treatment Plant, describes the importance and severeness of water resource, water pollution and water crisis, besides, the feasibility and necessary of wastewater recycle. Collects a lot of information about wastewater recycle in China and foreign countries, as well as those information in Baotou City, not limited to the analysis of local natural condition, meteorological criteria and current water supply and water drainage, and also the investigation of water consumption, design the capacity of wastewater recycle and water quality. It is concluded that there are three main schemes of reuse water treatment methods - a. direct filter, b. micro flocculent filter and c. mixed sedimentation filter, the process adoption and project design scheme are determined with the consideration of technical and economical aspects. In addition, this paper estimates the investment, and analyze the economical benefits, environmental benefits and social benefits, which gives a full and careful analysis with anti-risk ability and demonstrating the feasibility and eagerness of project execution-...
