Phase transfer catalysis has been applied to organic synthesis as a recently technique. And it has the advantages of mild condition, simply operation and short reaction time. But there is few report of preparation of selenourea derivatives under the condition of phase transfer catalysis. So we synthesized series of N-aroyl-N'-aryl-selenourea derivatives under the condition of phase transfer catalysis for the first time. And we also report three single crystal structures of N-aroyl-N'-aryl-selenourea derivatives.1. Review on the Synthesis Progress of Selenourea DerivativesAccording to a number of literatures, we summarized the appliance of selenium in bionomy and the synthesis progress of selenoura derivatives in organic synthesis.2. Synthesis of N-aroyl-N'-aryl-selenourea Derivatives Under the Condition of Phase Transfer CatalysisConsidering the advantages of phase transfer catalysis, we use this method for preparation of N-aroyl-N'-aryl-selenourea derivatives. We synthesized thirty-six kinds of compounds, their structures were characterized by IR, 1H NMR,13C NMR and element analysis.Using the reaction of benzoyl chloride with pheneylamine as an example, we investigated of the effect of reaction time, reaction temperature and catalyst. We found the best reaction condition is room temperature, polyethene glycal-400 as the catalyst, CH2CI2 as the solvent and the reaction time is fifteen minutes in first step and sixty minutes in second step.3. Crystal Structure Research of N-aroyl-N'-aryl-selenourea DerivativesWe synthesized series of N-aroyl-N'-aryl-selenourea derivatives under the condition of phase transfer catalysis and tested the single crystal structure of N-benzoyl-N'-4-methylphenylselenourea, N-benzoyl-N'-2-naphthylselenourea and N-benzoyl-N'-methoxylselenourea by the X-ray diffraction method. All the experimented data show that in the molecules, there are inter- or intra- molecular interaction forces. The different crystal structures are formed by the molecular interaction forces.We succeed preparation of N-aroyl-N'-aryl-selenourea derivatives under the condition of phase transfer catalysis. The method has the advantage of mild condition, simply operation and short reaction time. And we pioneered a new way of preparation of selenourea derivatives successfully.
