This thesis investigates the solidifying reactions between fly ash and desulphogypsum, two major solid wastes in coal-fired power plants, while being naturally cured in the air. Firstly, by considerable experiments, the paper disclosed the strength laws of fly ash-desulphogypsum cementitious material when each exciter acts on the system alone. On the basis of this, by orthogonal experiment, we found out primary and secondary order of curing agents, and obtained the optimum composition of fly ash-desulphogypsum binder as follows: flyash/desulphogypsum=3:2, and additional exciter such as 1% NaOH, 1%K2SO4, 1% lime, PH=4 HCl solution. Besides, the solidifying mechanisms of exciting agents and rule of hydration and hardening of cementitious material were deeply analyzed and discussed.
