The Study Of Regional Landscape Ecological Risk Assessment And The Environmental Risk Management Countermeasure

Ecological risk assessment is a new study field. Its objective is to estimate the possibility and magnitude in which some undesired ecological events will occur by using mathematics, probability and other risk analysis techniques. Regional landscape ecological risk assessment is one branch of ecological risk assessment, for which both the receptors and sources of risk must be in landscape scale, and the exposure and effects assessment must account their uncertainty and spatial heterogeneity.Through the case study of DongShan Island, the concept of landscape ecological risk assessment is inquired into, and a set of assessment method was developed. Arming at drought, typhoon, pollution accident and soil erosion in DongShan Island, the probability and distribution of each kind of risk sources are evaluated. By using remote sensing data, historic record, survey data and by means of geographical information system, regional ecological risk assessment is finished. On the basis of assessment result, the environmental risk management countermeasure of DongShan Island is advanced.
