The synthetic ammonia production system of HongHe Chemical-Industry Group Limited exists some problems, such as high consumption of energy, process index fluctuate severely, outdated instruments, low level of automation ect. If we don't take some technical innovation, it will lead to the result of high input and low output. Even more it will affect the stability and high-output of whole soda-ash and ammonia chloride system.This paper makes use of the advanced technology of computer and net, consideing the existence of problems of old synthetic ammonia production system, introduce DCS to complete the following technology innovation:(1) On the premise of temperature and pressure compensation for steam and natural gas, change the H2O/C simple control loop into logic increase ratio control system, this scheme can ensure the accuracy of the control system.(2) Design natural gas fully combustion control system in order that natural gas can be fully burned in the covection section of the first converter furnace.(3) Take use of time-lag multi-step model algorithm control(MAC) to realize Ha/N2 prediction control.(4) Renovate interlock emergency shut-down system.(5) There are another several sets of good-effect energy-saving system. In order to realize these technology scheme, configure data-base, control algorithm, figure, system management, quotation and reports of HS2000-Plus, determine the model of instruments and materials, finish the budget of the innovation.After the innovation complete, the consumption of natural gas will drop from 1060NM3/t.NH3 to 960NM3/t.NH3, the consumption of electricity will drop from 850KWh/t.NH3 to 820KWh/t.NH3. The whole innovation budget is about 3160000 yuan, the saving money of natual gas and electricity is about 3520000 yuan one year. Both the static payoff period and dynamic payoff period are less than one year. The DCS innovation of synthetic ammonia production system is feasible in technology and economic.
