Dendrimers have the more branching of structure, high density of peripheral functional group, single dispersion. They are applied in photoelectricity transducer, liquid crystal, micelle, catalyst, pharmaceutical preparation, light curing coat, etc. The study of dendrimers focuses on synthesizing the new dendrimers and the function of the existing dendrimers. In this paper, we study the two aspects. We omit protection - -undoing protection functional group activation and employ divergent strategy by one step way, synthesizing dendrimers and studying their application.1. Dendrimers (1.0-2.5G) with an EDA or TMPTA core and peripheral acrylic ester double bond and amino are synthesized from ethylene diamine (EDA) and trimethylolpropane triacrylate (TMPTA), CH3OH as solvent, by Michael addition reaction. The effects of reaction temperature, reaction time, ratio of reactants and solvent content on the yield and purity of dendrimers are studied.2. These dendrimers structures are identified by IP^ NMR, ESI-MS, HPLC and elementary analysis.3. Comparing 1.0 generation dendrimer with an EDA core and peripheral acrylic ester double bond [G1(=)] and the same molecule weight, linear, normal oligomers, such as 601 , 602, we obtain the curing speed of the first higher than the later.4. Because 1.0 generation dendrimer with a TMPTA core and peripheral amino [G1(NH2)] and 1.5 generation dendrimer with an EDA core and peripheral amino [G1.5(NH2)] have no volatilization, little viscosity and little toxicity, appling G1(NH2) and G1.5(NH2) regarding as curing agent of epoxy resin. It is found that curing speed becoming higher and application period prolonging.
