The research on current situation and progress of polyaniline, which was synthesized with chemical and electrochemical methods, as well as the met difficulties and the adopted steps on the polyaniline in the exploitation and the application between domestic and international presently is recommended. The situation of polyaniline on the applied research in the electro-catalytic field is summarized. The copolymerization of ANI and DPA using the pulse potential technique has been investigated. The optimum operation parameter is chosen and determined through a series of experiments. The Poly(ANI-co-DPA) film that has an integrated intensive structure and a better anchoring strength with the substrate material has been deposited on the platinum electrode. The mechanism of the electro chemical co-polymerization has also been investigated. Furthermore, with this Poly(ANI-co-DPA) film as a modified electrode material, the technique of Poly(ANI-co-DPA) film electrode modified by palladium micropartides was developed, finally, this one was applied in the oxidation reaction of small organic molecular such as formicacid. The effective elements were also researched. So the optimum experiment condition and the operation parameters were chosen and determined. The results show that the Poly(ANI-co-DPA) film is a better kind of modified electrode material. The Poly(ANI-co-DPA) film modified by palladium microparticles has a better activation of electrocatalytic in the oxidation reaction of formic acid.
