Energy is the physical basis of human existence and important pillar of social advance and economical development.In the economical programme of district and city construction,the scientific and reasonable constitution of energy is the most important.To regulate the constitution of energy reasonably is the key of social and economical sustained development and living environmental improvement.This article discusses the relation of energy constitution and air quality of Xi'an city.We predict the demand of energy consumption in 2005 and 2010 according to Xi'an economical and social development.Then we predict the air pollutants on the basis of 2002 burning-coal quality.In the light of Xi'an pollution source and energy nature,some schemes of energy regulation was proposed.As the energy constitution was regulated,the amount of air pollutants will decline.In this paper,we select single box model and multiple sources model to predict the concentration of SO2 and PM10 .The result showes that we can assure the concentration of SO2 to meet the second grade of the Ambient Air Quality Standard of China if we take measures such as:l)reducing the ratio of buring-coal to 50 percent; 2)strictly performing 《The standard of city burning-coal> of Shanxi province.As the same time,the pollution of two firepower station must be controlled according to 《The discharge standard of firepower station》 .In order to make the SO2 concentration of each assessment point to meet the second grade of the Ambient Air Quality Standard of China,we must enhance the level of regulation.The concentration of PM10 will exceed the second grade of the Ambient Air Quality Standard of China if we do not take a series of comprehensive control measures.
