Explosion welded-rolling is a process with which the explosion welded Ti-steel composite plate can be widened and lengthened. In the present study, the composite plates were attained through the method which contains follow procedures, firstly having the insert layer and cladding plate and matrix together by explosion welding, then getting the explosion welding composite plate and the other together with symmetry way, finally heating and rolling the plan. The main results of the study as follow:(1) The composite plates meeting the relative standard can not be achieved using the Cu film singly either over the eutectic temperature of the Ti-Cu or below the temperature. The results of using the Ni film as inter layer is the similar to that of the Cu. Using the simple iron, the properties of composite plate can satisfy the relative criterions, but heating temperature at 800 C~880 C and the annealing temperature at 550 C~700 C required.(2) Above the -Ti- -Ti transformation temperature of cladding plate, with the heat temperature increasing, the diffusion speed of Fe element in the Ti matrix is increasing, the thickness of diffusion layer increasing, and therefore, the combining toughness of composite plate is decreasing. When the heat temperature is 1000 C, the microstructure of the cladding plate near the interface of the inter layer and cladding plate was changed into needle.(3) With the annealing temperature rising at 800 C~900 C, the thickness of the compound between the Ti element and Fe element is changing gradually, but above the 900 C, the thickness of compound increasing strongly, companying the combining toughness of composite plate reducing notably.(4) When the original ratio of the thickness of the base plate and the claddingplate is definite, the deformation rate of the cladding plate is than that of the plan. On the other hand, when the heat temperature is same, with the original ratio increasing, the deformation rate of the every layer of the plan will be inclined to equal.(5) With the heat temperature rising, the surface of cladding plate is more coarse using the Na2SO4 H2O as the segregate material and made the machine properties of the composite plate bad. With the increment in hardness of segregate materials, at the same heat temperature, the surface of the cladding plate is more rough.(6) During the preliminary phase of the draw, the interface of composite plate was forced by shear stress singly, if the procedure going on, both the shear stress and the normal stress will effect on the interface of composite plate.(7) When the heat temperature under 900 C, tough looks can be observed in the rapture of the shear sample, and the main rapture mechanisms contain plastic rapture and decode fracture, and brittle rapture. When the heat temperature over 900 C, main fracture mechanism of the shear sample contain decode fracture and brittle rapture, and the plastic rapture mechanism have no effect on the rapture of shear sample.(8) Annealing temperature has notable effect on the rapture of the shear sample. With the heating temperature increasing, the compound of Ti-Fe is more and distribute along the interface of crystal.
