The law of plants absorbing two typical heavy metals in the soil was preliminary researched through the experiment cultivated in a pot. The four seasons Chinese cabbage and shanghaiqing were selected as experimental plants in the experiment. The Cu2+ ,Pb2+ and NaHCO3 were added into the soil in order to study the influence of the plant absorbing the heavy metals which includes the concentrations of Cu2+ ,Pb2+ ,NaHCO3 and the complex pollution of Cu2+ and Pb2+. The experimental results show that the concentrations of Cu2+ ,Pb2+ in the root of the four seasons Chinese cabbage and shanghaiqing are larger than that in the leaf and stem of the four seasons Chinese cabbage and shanghaiqing. Cu2+ and Pb2+ are absorbed mainly by the root of the four seasons Chinese cabbage and shanghaiqing. The influence of the four seasons Chinese cabbage and shanghaiqing absorbing Cu2+ and Pb2+ in the case of the respective pollution of Cu24 and Pb2"1" is different when the four seasons Chinese cabbage and shanghaiqing are in the soil polluted by Cu2+ and Pb2+ together. The ability of the four seasons Chinese cabbage and shanghaiqing absorbing Cu2+ and Pb2+ can be changed by adding NaHCO3 in the soil.
