Synthesis Of 2-Hydrazino-4-methylbenzothiazole

2-Hydrazino-4-methylbenzothiazole is an important organic intermediate, which is used for the preparation of a tricyclazole. 2-Hydrazino-4-methylbenzothiazole was synthesized using o-toluidine as a starting material followed by substitution and cyclization reaction etc. in a total yield of 71.5%. Some reasonable technological parameters, reaction mechanisms and conditions were discussed. The structures and compositions of these compounds were accomplished by spectral analysis and chromatographic analysis.
