In disinfection technique criterion of the sanitation department, Iodimetry in five steps is the first method of determination of chlorine dioxide in water, through theory analysis and theoretical computation pointed out the essential defect in this method is the inaccurate pH adjustment, also the ambiguous control condition resulted in more stochastic and accumulative errors, through experiments testified the defects of this method and amended them, also putted forward a fundamental for amendment, namely fixing concentration, timing, fixing temperature and proofreading pH; the author found a sort of inorganic compound can turn chlorite natrium to chlorine dioxide, on the base, selected materials to compose new chlorine dioxide disinfect powder, and through experiments determined the best mixing proportion and the best use method, to renovate the manner of producing chlorine dioxide disinfect powder; besides these, the author also designed and installed a suit of device to test the release speed of the chlorine dioxide gas slowly released by tow sorts of chlorine dioxide product(powder and gel) made by this lab, and analyzed the rule of releasing chlorine dioxide gas and the environmental influence factors. As a result, the chlorine dioxide gas release speed of chlorine dioxide powder changed greatly and influenced by the air humidity, the gelatinous chlorine dioxide product released chlorine dioxide gas on an even keel and influenced by the air temperature.
