Poloxamer, one of nonionic surfactant with high molecular weight, was used at pharmaceutical necessities. Its acute toxicity and stimulateion are low.The polymeric technology was studied for replace foreign product and expand the use.Block copolymer poiyols were made by adding propylene oxide to propylene glycol to form a poly(propylene oxide)hydrophobe having a minimum molecular weight of 1600 as determined by hvdroxvl number at atmospheric pressure. The best reactional condition is:the amount of initiator , temperature and concentration of catalyst. Ethylene oxide was then added to the hydroxyl groups of this hydrohobe to form block copolyether.Crown ether was used at pressure in order to overcome the shortcut at atmospheric pressure.Ethylene oxide and propylene oxide catalysed by potassium alkoxide and crown ether were synthesized with high molecular weight and narrower distributions. the average molecular weight and molecular weight distributions were investigated by analytical Gel permeation chromatography (GPC).The structure and function of the synthesized polymers was confirmed by Fourier transform-infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR) , nucleus magnetism resonance spectroscopy (NMR) and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) . The melting point, clouding point, molecular weight, PH, and unsaturation of the synthesized polymers were determined and discussed. At the same time, a daidzein-poloxamer solid dispersion was prepared by solvent method. The pharmaceultical test indicated that the percent of dissolved daidzein increased remarkably by coprecipitation. The X-ray diffraction indicatied daidzein dispersed in poloxamer 188 as the finest crystals. The same results were received by compared with Pluronic F-68.
