Based on integrated review of wastewater disposal methods, some important factors, such as the equipment, working principle, reactive mechanism and degradation efficiency on the disposal of contained-phenolic organic wastewater by using electric-hydraulic impulse park power, have been researched. The chief achievements and innovatory points are following.Efficiency of electric-hydraulic impulse discharge technology is related to reservoir energy electric-capacitance, working volt and discharge way. Flexible discharge is favorable to the composition of macromolecule. Rigid discharge is advantageous to activation of water. The kinds and shapes of electrode material influence energy density. Distance of two-electrode, surface state and shape of discharge room are related to it. When electric parameters are selected the flow state of wastewater should be concerned.Decomposition of organic substance under the affection of electric-hydraulic impulse discharge technology is occurred by activated molecule or radius free radical chain reaction, and the last reactive production in theory is CO2 and H2O almost. Reactive rate and middle steps are correlative to function groups of organic substance and gathering state of system.For disposal of wastewater containing phenol (or nitrobenzene or acetophenone) with the impulse electric plasma discharge technology, we first obtain following kinetic equation by using data of references:The kinetic characteristic doesn't verify as active carbon is put into the disposal system of containing phenol wastewater by electric pulse.The electric-hydraulic impulse discharge technology could be used for activation of water. As stick-wimble tape electrode discharge is adopted in electric-hydraulic impulse discharge technology, the amount of dissolving oxygen is increased, and pH rises from 6.5 to 7 in the activated water. The best drinkable time of the activated water is 15~120 minutes after it is produced. The simulative wastewater of zoology blue dye( or acid rose red water-solubility dye or phthalocyanine) has been disposed by electric-hydraulic impulse discharge technology. The results show that volt is a major effective factor on the decolouring ratio of wastewater.
