High Speeding Continuous Casting (CC) Technology has being the tendency of CC Technology owed to its high production and low cost. During High Speeding CC process, mold fluxes consumption in one unit of time reduce because of the higher frequency of oscillation, this will cause fluxes film between mold and strand become unstable and non-uniform, and then enlarge the friction force between mold and strand, which will worse lubrication between mold and strand and lead to breakout accident. The research on influence of physical-chemistry properties of mold fluxes on friction force between mold and strand become more and more important, which will benefit to controle appropriate friction force, maintain process smoothly and direct operation mode of CC.In this paper, founded by NSFC, mathematic model of friction force between mold and strand was established, by which the influence of physical-chemistry properties on friction force has been studied. When establishing mathematic model of friction force between mold and strand, the two-dimension temperature field was taken into consideration which break through the traditional method in which liner temperature field was adopted ,in addition, in this paper viscosity-temperature curve was needed to avoid the value created by calculated with constant viscosity by which deviation from true value would happen.Physical-chemistry properties and percentage composition of mold fluxes have influence on friction force between mold and strand. Friction force increase with the breaking temperature, melting temperature basicity increasing, reduce with percentage composition of Na2O CaF2 MnO increase.In this paper, the influence of viscosity on 1300C on friction was studied too,from then it was found that their were less relevance. So it can be concluded that viscosity-temperature curve should be called when calculate the friction force between mold and strand.
