Design , Synthesis and Properties Study onOptics and Electronics Organic Small Molecular MaterialsI. Synthesis of organic small molecular luminescent materials containing carbazyl and oxadiazole moiety and study on electroluminescence of these materials.Ten organic small molecular materials EMI-EM 10 containing carbazyl and oxadiazole moiety are synthesised. Among of these EM2 was applied to OLEDs, the properties of photoluminescence and electroluminescence were studies in details. In device 2, A1Q was used as electro transporting material, TPD as hole transporting material, EM2 as emitting material. Pure blue light coming from exciplex emission between TPD and small molecular is obtained, and the device achieved a maximum luminance of 26200 cd/m2 and efficiency of 2.25 lm/W, which the one of the best blue OLEDs using organic small molecular.II. Synthesis and spectra property of 1,8- naphthalimide derivantsA series of naphthalimide derivants NaPMl-NaPM5 were synthesised and their absorption spectra and fluorescence spectra in different solvents are investigated. The Stokes Shifts of NaPMl in different solvents was studied in details. Also the fluorescence life-span of NaPMl was determined and found its fluorescence life-span in methanol is rather short, in all probability because of the the hydrogen band between the naphthalimide and methanol molecule. At the same time, we also found when we change the substituting groups of the naphthalimido, the absorption spectra and the fluorescence peak position of the compounds show almost the same, but their fluorescence intensity exhibition quite different according to the donor strength of the substituting groups.III. Synthesis and study on the response of the fluorogenic chemosensors based on naphthalimide as fluorophore for anions. The design and synthesis of two novel fluorescent fluoride sensor containing urea and thiourea are described. Sensor 1 has a highly binding and sensing of fluoride over variousmonovalent inorganic anions (such as H2PO4-, AcO-, Cl-, Br-, I-) via anion-receptor hydrogen-bonding interactions. Sensor 1 also can display dual sensing action, when additions of the fluoride, exhibits a fluorescence enhancement between the anion concentration 1xl10-6M-2x10-3M, further addition of fluoride over 2x10-3M, the fluoreseence emission is quenched.
