Loop reactor is a new type of reactor which is growing up with the study of bioreactor.Conduction equipment is fitted on this type of reactor,which conducts the nature flow to the steady loop flow.This type of reactor is superior to the common mechanical agitated reactor in structure and energy consuming. When this type of reactor used,the concentration of reactant was easily controlled and the productivity could be heightened. Loop reactor has been widely used in chemical industry,fermentation and the waste water disposing process.Loop bioreactor has been widely used in aerobic fermentation,but rarely in anaerobic fermentation.In order to promote the development of loop bioreactor in the domain of anaerobic fermentation, the anaerobic bioreactor with both inter-loop and outer-loop was put forward as a new train of thoughts. Experimental studies of the flow and heat transfer about the double loop bioreactor have been made.The relationship between the inter-loop velocity and the outer-loop flux and the relationship between the Reynolds number and the outer-loop flux were studied,on condition that the working medium was water under about 20C and the outer-loop flux was 200-1000 1/h. The result of the experiment indicated that after the flow was steady,both inter-loop velocity and the Reynolds number increased as the outer-loop flux increasing. Therefore the inter-loop could be controlled to a perfect condition by adjusting the outer-loop flux.The heat transfer experiment was did with water, the working medium whose temperature was 38C. The result of the experiment indicated that when the outer-loop flux was 0-1000 1/h and the cooling water flux was 250-750 1/h, the thermal conductive coefficient increased exponencially as the outer-loop flux increasing and increased linearly as the cooling water flux increasing. The experiential relationship formula of the thermal conductive coefficient was gained by the mathematical means.Alcohol can be used in many departments of the national economy. Since alcohol is a reproducible energy source,attention is payed to how to replace oil and coal with it.The key to generalize the fuel ethanol is how to cut the costs of production. The comprehensive utilization of material is a available approach to cost cutting ,therefore a new alcohol fermentation technics is brought forward,alcohol fermentation from wheat flour in clarifying solution.With thistechnics,the gluten is separated from the solution before fermentation. The gluten contains good nutrient and can be processed into delicious health care food.The orthogonal test was used to optimize the process conditions of the new fermentation technics.The result of orthogonal experiment indicated that with the purpose of getting high output of ethanol,the optimal technology was as follows: the ratio of raw wheat flour to water was 1:3.1; the inoculation quantity of TH-AADY was 0.9%o;the fermentation temperature was controlled at 32~34C in the first 8h,38~40C between 8-20 h;the fermentation cycle is 56 h .Under the conditions,the output of ethanol got to 0.1035 g/ml and the fermentation efficiency got to 90.3%. The result of orthogonal experiment also indicated that with the purpose of getting high fermentation efficiency, the optimal technology was that the ratio of raw wheat flour to water was 1:3.5 instead of 1:3.1 with other conditions invariability. Under the conditions, the fermentation efficiency got to 92.9% and the output of ethanol got to 0.0946 g/ml.Enlarging the experiment with the former technology,the result indicated when the slenderness ratio of bioreactor was 4.375:1 and the charging coefficient was 0.857,the fermentation efficiency was still able to get to 89.08%.This foreshows a good foreground of the new alcohol fermentation technology.
