The influence of process factors and ratio of wood fiber and plastic on the wood fiber/recycled plastic composites' physical properties and surface tension were studied in this paper. Three recycled plastic(polystyrene, polyethylene and polypropylene) and po\ai(Populus sp) fiber were used as the main raw material,and various process factors such as different kinds of plastic,mixing ratio between wood material and plastic counterpart, hot-pressing temperature were examined, while recycled plastic/wood composites, modified through polymer blending with same proportion of recycled polystyrene plastic and polyethylene plastic, and poplar (Populus sp. ) fiber were used as main raw materials and various process factors ,such as different kinds of plastics, the mixing ratio between the wood material and plastics counterpart, hot-pressing temperature ,hot-pressing time and the interaction between temperature and time, were investigated. Results showed that all factors have very important effects on the properties of composites in the thickness of 3mm. It also showed the premium condition for recycled plastics/composites: polystyrene, wood/plastic ratio at 50/50, hot-pressing temperature at 190癈 Mean while, adopting the following process factors for wood fiber/recycled plastic alloys composites in the thickness of 3mm would show the premium results, 50/50 for the wood/plastic ratio, hot-pressing temperature at 190癈 and hot-pressing time at 6 min.
