The Research On Key Techniques Of Furniture Design Center Database

With the rapid development of the technology and economy, there is a great change in the market, design and production of the furniture industry. The traditional furniture manufacturing industry is undergoing a transform. In order to gain upper hand and keep developing under such new completing circumstances, the furniture manufacturing industries need cooperate in harmony. The designers and the customers must work together and make the best of their intelligence and technology in order to design products of good quality.CAD/CAM/CAPP is good for improving the design and manufacturing level of furniture. But CAX system at present can't satisfy the distributive collaborative development because of the geographical decentralization of designers and resource. The appearance and the rapid development of Internet and Web technology break the limit of time and space and afford the possibility of furniture manufacturing network-based collaborative product design.After deeply research and analysis on Internet, web, collaborative theory, database technology and the characteristic of furniture enterprise, this paper builds database and data bank framework supporting design' center, researches the database supporting system realizing the share and exchange of furniture information and develops the database integrating application platform of furniture manufacturing network-based collaborative product design. The main work of this dissertation includes:(1)According to the requirement analysis of database of the furniture design center, this dissertation builds the function framework and puts forward the data flow of furniture collaborative design in total.(2)Layout the data dictionary and build database and data bank framework supporting furniture network-based collaborative design center. The main database includes products, users, parts, document object, material, hardware and etc. Data communication between design center and cooperative partners is realized by information exchange system and it carries out the share and exchange of information of furniture enterprises.(3)Management and access of database are realized. They manage all the related process and information of furniture product, realize the comprehensive query andafford a great deal of design resource for designers to share.(4)Multi-user mechanisms in collaborative design have gained preliminaryrealization. According the characteristic of furniture collaborative design, this system establishes task assignment mechanism and discussion region and sets up the access control and security.
