After the discovery of C60 and its production in macroscopic amounts, many novel derivatives of fullerenes with interesting properties have been synthesized and characterized in the recent years. At the possibilities of exploiting and useness of fullerenes, scientists had done a lot of work, and many studing products were offered. So far, the study on fullerene C60 and other carbon clusters already permeated into most of the scientific research areas, excluding the pure mathematics. The experiments showed that fellerenes could be potentially utilized in high polymer industry, solid lubrication, battery industry, solid rocket fuels, life science, medical science and many other areas.In this paper, a series of mono-adduct products of fullerene derivatives have been synthesized and characterized by 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR, FT-IR, ESI-MS and UV-Vis. The fluorescence of products dissolved in organic solvents were studied at room temperature, strong fluorescence were obtained.The Becke-3-Lee- Yang-Parr (B3LYP) method and 3-21G basis set was employed to study the geometries and electronic structures of the products. On the basis of the results, we work out the eletronic spectroscopic properties of these products by using INDO/S method, The results are in good accordance with the experiment values.
