| A new method to photo-grafting strong acid group on the surface of polyolefin was studied in this article. Weight, contact angle, infrared spectrum, scan electron microscope were used to characterize to structure and morphology of surface, which showed the strong acid groups were really grafted. This kind of function of polyolefin is scare in studying papers, and has great studying value and practice use. There are four kinds of ways to do the experiments, including photo-grafting HSS on the surface of polyolefin, photo-grafting AMS on the surface of polyolefin, photo-grafting AMS and AA on the surface of polyolefin by co-polymerization, and photo-grafting HSS after photo-grafting AA on the surface of polyolefin.First, LDPE/HSS surface photo-grafting was studied by two step method. The reaction conditions which affect the grafting ratio was discussed. The result showed that the reduction time of the initiator, the concentration and acidity of the solution, the grafting time affected the grafting ratio obviously, while the intensity of UV-light hardly affected the grafting ratio. The grafting times is better less than three times. The grafting ratio of CPP and BOPP is better than the other polyolefin. Second, LDPE/AMS surface photo-grafting was studied by two step method. The reaction conditions which affect the grafting ratio was also discussed. Third, AMS/AA co-polymerization photo-grafting on surface of LDPE with one step was studied. The dynamic equation of co-polymerization on the surface was got. The result showed us that co-polymerization is an effective way to grafting acid group on the surface of polyolefin, and the grafting ratio could reach 1.390%。The concentration of BP, the ratio of monomers, the grafting time, and the intensity of the UV-light all affected the grafting ratio obviously. The dynamic equation was d[M1] d[M2] At last, A method of grafting strong acid group after grafting AA on LDPE by UV light was studied. The result showed that it was also a good method to grafting strong acid group, with which 0.967% could be get. The thickness of AA layer, the grafting time and the grafting times affect the grafting ratio. After three times grafting, AA layer was covered, and the grafting ratio could be 1.541%. |
