In this paper, the relationship between composition and mechanical properties, thermal performance of ABS/PVC and ABS/PVC/Elas. system were systematically investigated . And the influence regulation of four factors such as PVC TOTM P83 EBA on mechanical, thermal and rheologicproperties of the ternary blends were studied by using rotational design. The result showed that the comprehensive mechanical properties of ABS/PVC alloy are better than ABS. The effects of different kind of ABS on the properties of ABS alloy are different. In thinking about the comprehensive properties and price, to adopt the ABS9747 and ABS9715A is the better way. And it was found that by adding the toughener P83 and CPE in the system partly instead of thermal-resistant plasticizer TOTM, the impact strength of the blends were improved while the thermal property was stable. And comparing to CPE, the modificative effectiveness of P83 was higher. The result of rotational design provided the basis for optimizing recipe. Finally the recipe and blending process of ABS/PVC/Elst. used to manufacture the surface of instrument board of automobiles was defined .
