Machine tool especially precision machine tool is the basement of mechanical manufacture industry. Improving and accelerating the machine tool design, via Internet to make more partners to participate in the design are the requirements of technology development. At present ,The traditional integration mode doesn't satisfy nowadays requirements,because the demands from these new technologies,such as concurrent design,virtual design,agile design and dynamic network alliance,are all based on the complicated and sombrous distributed applications.The target of this paper is to study how to integrate the machine tool design information. With the information, the information integration system NJCNC_PDM based on J2EE frame is build. In this paper, the basic concept, history, direction of PDM was introduced firstly. Then, the architecture and conceive of NJCNC_PDM was discussed; the solutions of some key problems have been presented. At last, the application prototype with four layers has been constructedThe main contents and achievements of this paper are listed below:⑴In order to meet the requirements of complexity ,openness, flexible of machine tool design. A new type of information integration mode based on WEB is put forward for the first time.⑵The workflow of machine tool design is analyzed and planed systemically, at the same time ,using UML and Rose to describe the system.⑶By the standard of J2EE ,the prototype was implemented using JSP and EJB.⑷Introduced the function of the system and point out it's strong points and weakness, present the direction and advise of improvement.
