| On account of light weight, low price and good comprehensive mechanical properties, plastics get widely used in such industries as mechanics, electronics, aviation, automobile, communication and so on. Industrial parts are usually requested to have high precision and complicated shapes, so it is important to make a right judgement on the shrinkage situation of injection molding products.Factors having an impact on the shrinkage of injection molding products, such as plastic material characteristics, technics conditions and mould structures, and connections in factors are profoundly discussed in this thesis on the basis of roundly analyzing study methods and status at present in theory and experiment of shrinkage of injection molding products, with produce and mold design of injection molding products. The method of study on simulation experiment for shrinkage laws of injection molding products based on Moldflow software is conducted by simulation technology of CAE and Moldflow software facilities, considering prediction means of shrinkage and shortcomings of calculating shrinkage in the design mold. Simulation experiments for shrinkage are done in many kinds of injection molding products with different structures as rectangle plank, circular pipe etc and different molding gates' locations and numbers. Mutual relation on molding shrinkage between central character and restriction character is studied, and connection formula is established. Structures and place and number of molding gate have effect on molding shrinkage by analyzing results of simulation experiments, and have many laws.The method of simulation experiment and connection formula of calculating shrinkage are compared by production of shell molded part, the results are coincident. This show analyzing structural varieties of molded products bring about molding shrinkage have important reference to production of molded parts and design of molds. |
