| Thin-walled tubes act as important roles in mechanical devices. Their axes may bend during manufacturing. Straightening technology can reduce the axial deformation to ensure the quality of the thin-walled tube. After analyzing previous papers, based on elastic-plastic mechanic theory, the thin-walled tube's straightening model is built up. By analyzing the relation among bending moment , curvature and deflection in the straightening process, the thin-walled tube's deflection equation is figured out, which is appropriate to the linear plastic hardening material. The formation and recovery of the thin-walled tube section's flattening are studied, and the effects on flattening made by geometric and material parameters are studied, then the equation of the rate of section's remained flattening is constructed.Based on the thin-walled tube deformation experiment and three dimensional finite element analysis, the theories presented by this paper are validated and the regulations of thin-walled tube's bending and its section's flattening are studied, and the equations of the thin-walled tube's bending deflection and the rate of section's remained flattening are corrected. |
