In this thesis, chitosan and MAA were grafted copolymerization under irradiation, which is a new way. This way was simple and cheap, which not only supply a new key but also breadth the design thinking method of changing the chitosan's character. The report about the preparation and application of chitosan graft copolymer was few, which is still a brand-new research region. Main research method and result shows:1. By the research of chitosan and MAA grafting copolymerization, influencing rules of reaction conditions were discussed. Under the optimal conditions (full of N2, the proportion of MAA with chitosan is 4:1,radiation dosages-200Gy), grafting yield is abve 300%.2. The grafting copolymer deriving from the optimal conditions was characterized. Comparing the FTIR,X-Ray, SEM photograph and TG, DTG, the results showed that MAA has been grafted to chitosan.3. The release rate of tablets containing fenoprofen calcium (FC) prepared bydirect compression of the copolymer and drugs was 28.78% in 1h, 33.04% in 2h, 48.16% in 4h, relatively high in 9h, which shows that fenoprofen calcium in tablets was released slowly.4. The absorptive capacity of copolymer obviously exceed that of chitosan. The factors affecting the absorptive capacity, such as pH, copolymer dosage, temperature and time, also were discussed. The result showed that the absorptive capacity is maximum when pH was 5; that the copolymer can select Cu2+ when Zn2+-Cu2+-Cd2+-Ni2+-Cr3+ coexist; that the sorbent can be regenerated, which shows that chitosan copolymer can be reused after being regenerated.
