As a most essential driving part, gear is widely used in all kinds of machines in many important industrial fields. The idea of precision forging technology aiming at Net forming or Near Net forming used for manufacturing gears can adapt to the trend of the advanced manufacture technique with the advantages of high efficiency, precision and energy-saving. In the near future the precision forging technology will be the most important method for gear manufactory.The dissertation put forward a new straight inner gear processing technology that is the two-stage processing method including shrinking and upsetting forming. The dissertation put up not only the structure optimization for the die based on the software of Pro/Engineer, but also the simulation optimization for the processing technology based on the software of MSC.SuperForm. Then through the simulation experiment the feasibility of the processing technology was verified. The primary coverage of the dissertation as follows:At first, the dissertation put forward the two-stage forming method for straight inner gear including the two-stage extruding of shrinking and upsetting forming.Then, the dissertation made the numerical simulation for the forming processing of the straight inner gear. Some different factors were analyzed including the influence of different die size, different friction condition and different processing temperature. Through the analysis of the two-stage processing technology for straight inner gear, the dissertation present the equivalent stress distributing, equivalent plastic strain distributing and the average stress distributing, ect. At the same time, the article gave the conclusion of the forming state with different conditions.At last, the dissertation achieved not only the Al and Pb straight inner gear parts by the forming experiments, but also the P-S (power-stroke) curve. Duringthe period of the experiment, the rule of the material flow was proved, and the same of the feasibility of the forming technology.
