The synthesis condition of epoxidized low molecular trans-1,4-polybutadiene(ab. ELMTPB) was studied in this article, including its characteristic, epoxy content(D) measurement with ~1H-NMR method. And titrimetrical technique measurement of epoxy content was revised by the~1h-nmr.Using the pre-prepared peroxide acetic acid and peroxyformic acid in-situ different epoxy content of ELMTPB was prepared. The first method can make out the lower epoxy content of ELMTPB -less than 30%, the latter nearly 80%. Reaction condition was studied on epoxy content of ELMTPB. The reaction temperature should be no more than 45 ℃ and reaction time should not be over 4h. Generally speaking reaction condition should be adapted to anticipated epoxy content of ELMTPB. The solvent polarity different, the epoxy content was different. With the increasing of solvent polarity, the epoxy content increases.By the ~1H-NMR spectra examination, epoxidized trans-1,4-polybutadie resonance is 2.72ppm, which approved LMTPB was epoxidized. Epoxy content was quantitatively analysed with the ~1H-NMR spectra and using the 16.7% as inflexion two linear equation was got.The study was made on the effect of the ELMTPB dealing with silica on the SBR performance. The results showed that with epoxy content 10.6% of ELMTPB the modulus at 300%, tensile strength, elongation at break increase a little.
