In the melting reaction of UHMWPE grafted MAH, the effect of fluid modifier CaSt2, monomer MAH, initiator DCP, cross-linking inhibitor CALA and reaction temperature and time on graft rate and gel content were discussed. The graft rate and gel content of grafted reactant UHMWPE-g-MAH were determined by titrimetric analysis a nd grarimetric a nalysis. T he e xist o f g rafting r eactant w as s howed b y IR spectrum .The appropriate reactional condition was: temperature 175180°C, time 14 min. When MAH/DCP/CALA/ CaSt2 was 5/0.15/0.1/1, grafteing reactant of graft rate 0.75% gel content 1.48% was attained.Grafting r eactant ABS-g-MAH w as p repared b y g rafting M AH t o A BS in t he brabender single screw extruder, and the effect of reation temperature, revloving speed, the content of MAH and DCP on grafting ratio were discussed. The compatibilization of grafting reactant on PA6/ABS alloy was also discussed, and micromorphology of dispersed phose was observed by scanning electron mirror. The experiment showed that when at appropriate temperature, revolving speed was 30 r/min, the content of DCP was 1%, MAH was 5%, grafting ratio of ABS-g-MAH was 2.3% was attained. When the content of PA6/ABS was 90:8, compatibilizer ABS-g-MAH was 15, impact toughness of PA6/ABS alloy was obviously increased, and other properties were also improved. And when the content of PA6/UHMWPE was 90:8 , compatibilizer UHMWPE-g-MAH was 15, impact toughness of PA6/ABS alloy was obviously increased, and other properties were also improved.
