Abstract: This thesis takes full advantage of the conditions, including the testing ground of the constructed wetland system for wastewater that was provided by The Institute of Environment Protection, Sichuan and the current study achievements to initiate a study of constructed wetland for wastewater.The results showed that the biocenosis and the populative structure of testing ground system were stable. The water plants of each unit showed the transit of emersed and stand plants that have strong soiling resistance to sunken plants that have weak soiling resistance. Follow the decrease of pollutant load, the alga showed the transit of dominant socials of euglena and diatom which have strong soiling resistance to some species of green algae which have weak soiling resistance.The testing ground of the constructed wetland system has much higher ability to remove pol lutants from wastewater. Theremoval rate of C0Dcr is 81. 91%-87. 21%, BOD5 is 89. 04%-93. 56%, T-N is 60. 61%-89. 95% , T-P is 81. 58%-93. 71%, NH3-N is 36.39%- 90.66%, total bacterial count is 89.96% - 99.56%, total coliform is 94. 58% - 99. 67%. Even in the situation that lower air and water temperature and most of the plants were less vigorous, the removal rate of most pollutants is still higher than 85%. The constructed wetland system can endure the lash of the wastewater in some extent. Each unit of the constructed wetland system plays an effective role, and each of them has their own characteristic. They supplement each other.The test of static state showed that the removal rate willbe speed up i n the test i ng pot where plants grow on. The results of T Test showed that the Reed, Calamus, Rush have apparent effects on removing pollutants. So it is wise for Chengdu of Sichuan province to choice Rush, Reed, Calamus as the constructed wetlands plants.The results of dynamics reaction showed that the process of purification is a stair dynamics reaction. The K is 0.0438- 0.0532 (Rush), 0.0322 (Reed) and 0.0388 (Calamus).
