People are giving more attention to environment protection as the development of modern industry. The policy of controlling the pollution at the end of a production process has been changed to a new one, which control the pollution before and during the production process. The influence assessment of environment quality for a new or improving production process is an important policy in Chine, in which the forecasting of air quality by mathematical models is an essential part.The main aim of this thesis was to forecast the influence on air quality for improving the tecenique of a heat-electricity production process in Sichuan Tuopui Liqueur Company. The main pollutants and their quantities were determined in terms of the production process, the raw materials and the equipment for removing the pollutants. The air moving characters at lower atmosphere were measured by small balloons.The temperature changing at lower atmosphere was measured by an air exploring instrument .The diffusion coefficients were got with balloons in equilibrium condition.The concentrations of SO2 and TSP near the ground on different meteorological conditions and emitting methods were calculated by Gauss model.The main conclusions of the research work are:1 The maximum speed of wind near the grounds occurs at about 7pm. The minimum speed of wind near the ground occurred at about 5 an; and 11 am.2 The models for the speeds of wind at different height were got as:In unstable condition . In middle stable condition. and in stable condition.3 The models for diffusion coefficient were got as:In unstable condition, In middle stable condition. In stable condition.4 The concentration of SO2 and TSP at different meteorological conditiond could meet the secondary degree of national standard (GB3095 - 1996) whenthe production processes were in normal conditions. But the concentrations of SO2 and TSP could not meet the secondary degree of the same stander (the average values of a day ) if there was an accident in production processes. So the suggestions to keep the treatment processes in a good condition were strongly recommended.5 It is a very important way for getting a better forecasting results by measuring the local data to analyze the meteorological characters of air pollution and determine the coefficients of forecasting model.
