Gas-baking equipment is a kind equipment for heating some devices to a certain working temperature, which request that all branches of gas distributive chamber could distribute flow uniformly. The problem of flow uniform distribution with larger flux in multi-branch pipe is complicated but inevitable in projects. Flow uniform distribution is also an important technical measure for many devices to improve capability. Therefore, it has important function to study uniformity of distribution.The methods of numerical simulation and experiment have been used to study flow laws and distributing uniformity of baking equipment in the paper. Numerical simulation was a convenient and effective method for studying flow laws and gas distribution. The methods were used to study the distributive conditions of velocities, pressure and flux of cold gas and hot gas, and the distributive conditions of velocities in every spout through adding distributive board. Then change some parameters to analysis their varying laws and influencing factors and to research the pipe frame which could distribute flow uniformly.Studies showed the main factors of influencing flow distribution were the diameters of the intake pipe and the main pipe, the branch flow coefficient C and the momentum exchange coefficient k. Flow could be distributed uniformly through adjusting intake sizes of branches properly. The flow laws and gas distribution of hot gas had little difference from cold gas. According to variety of temperature and regulating the gas flux of branches, heat could be distributed uniformly. The results experimental kept same approximately with the one of numerical simulation, which showed that the results of simulation were right.The results established foundation for the application of flow uniform distribution in multi-branch pipe and gave reference for all kinds of problem of flow distribution.
