| Eutrophication is the most radical environmental issue of the around-taihu area by now. our task is to introduce the Japanese technology of aquatic-planted constructed wetland ,hoping to remove those N, P and algae contaminations in the inflow river mainly by the following three ways: truncation and adsorption of the plants' roots, denitrification of the microorganism adsorbed on the roots and the nutrition absorption of plants. Meanwhile, certain economic benefits would be achieved.This paper is about the pilot study of this constructed wetland. The main vegetables for pilot is Oenanthe jaranica in Winter and Ipomoea aquatica in Summer. The main contents are:the change of water quality between inflow and outflow of the wetland, the removal efficiency of main water indexs such as N, P, CODMn,SS etc.practical running parameters' optimization including water depth, plants' density, transplant format and inflow mode (continuum or intermission) .in order to analyze the removal mechanism of aquatic-planted constructed wetland primarily, we calculate the removal load of N, P in August.analyzing the relation among contaminants removal , plant's growth, the kind and quantity of the microorganisms on roots and the sludge in the bottom of water channel.making economic and cost analysis for the large-scale extending using in the abandoned ponds or swamp.The results of this pilot study indicates that using the aquatic-planted constructed wetland to cut the pollution of inflow river of taihu is feasible and efficient. It can be used in large-scale after saving the costs more and solving the problem in harvesting , sludge-cleaning and compost. |
