Quality Control And Development Of Quality Management System For Investment Casting

The investment casting enterprises in China have already come to international market and gained more development opportunities during the economy globalization times. At the same time, this condition has brought forward more strict demands to the quality management of the enterprises. It is important to study the control methods of quality of the investment casting and develop the appropriate quality management system that has positive influences on upgrading the management level of enterprises and the capacity of competition in market. The methods of SPC have observable characteristics of investment casting trade and can be used in the quality management process of investment casting enterprises that face to domestic markets, and it can improve the level of quality management.The investment casting enterprises cannot control the process of making shell well, so they have some problems about quality of product. The process in the dryness of shell was analyzed by SPC, and the reasons for crack of shell were affirmed with some experiments. The resolving of problem in shell process was gained, and it can help the enterprise improve the quality of product.The device for collection and controlling technical parameters in shell process has been designed and exploited. It can make the process of shell stable that using the device to control the technical parameters in shell room. The data from the device can enter the quality management system automatically. The device has already been applied and was used for solving the problem of product quality in an investment casting enterprise. The state of operation was good and the favorable result was obvious.Based on using advanced quality control theories of SPC, the quality management system has been developed. This system uses client/server enterprise LAN. The system's core is quality-controlling process. Quality management of raw and processed materials, equipment and technical device, technical parameters in production, quality statistical management becomes an organic whole.
