Water is a main component of human environment, and also the basic element of life. With the decreasing labefaction of our environment, the useable fresh water is facing pollution and becoming exhausted in the large-scale, and shortage is a threat to the whole world as well.At present, for alleviating the shortage of the freshwater resources, the people are carrying on the massive researches, and its main direction is nothing more than two aspects. On one hand, we should treat the contaminated water to resume its original value so that it can be reused in the people's life and the factories, on the other hand, we can develop the new fresh water resources to make up the shortage of the total quantity.This paper synthesize the two directions above and firstly mention the presumption of magnetic field cooperating with electric field to remove the salty ion in the water, researched and self-made the testing equipment. On the base of it, I researched and determined the rule systemicly, which is the effect of electrode factor, electric field factor , magnetic field factor and the flux and concentration of the treated solution on efficiency. And the result disclose that the electric field is feasible to remove the salty ion in water, while the magnetic field has no obvious impact to help the electric field improving the efficiency. In the experiments, I get the optimal experimental parameter for electrosorption: the graphite electrode, spacing 3mm between electrode, DC voltage (3.5V), the current density (2.08~2.89A/m2),the speed(1.25ml/s) and concentration of the treated solution. Under this optimum condition, The conductance of the treated solution decreased from 885us/cm to 726us/cm, and the concentration is about 177mg/1 after the single unit electrode treat the NaCl solution(250mg/1) 2h. The desalinization rate is about 29.2%. After two cycles, the conductance and the concentration of the treated solution become 545 us/cm and 100mg/1 respectively, and desalinization rate is about 60%.Generally speaking, the desalinization rate increases along with prolonging the cycles.Under the optimum experimental parameter, this paper also carry on the research to the purification of the actual heavy metal industrial waste water and the tap water ulteriorly, at the same time, the paper study the economical assessment and industrialization analysis of this technology. Its findings indicat this method is extremely effective to treat the low salt waste water, and the energy consumption of this method is much fewer than other traditional methods, moreover the equipment is very simple, and the industrialization and the automated control is easy to be realized. It has the broad application prospect.
