In the paper, the preparation techniques, micro-structures and capabilities of the Al2O3/Cu composite material by internal oxidation of deeply aluminized pure copper matrix be studied. The capability of the Al2O3/Cu composite material by internal oxidation of deeply Aluminized pure copper matrix and capability of the ageing and solution alloy of aluminized deeply pure copper be contrasted. The experiment confirms that the Al2O3/Cu composite material by internal oxidation of deeply aluminized pure copper matrix is a kind of superiority diathermanous copper material as being the metallurgical equipment material. The research result indicates that contrasted with the sample of pure copper, the wear resistance and thermal fatigue resistance of the sample of ageing and solution alloy of aluminized deeply pure copper and the sample of Al2O3/Cu composite material by internal oxidation of deeply aluminized pure copper matrix are improved greatly; contrasted with the ageing and solution alloy of aluminized deeply pure copper, the Al2O3/Cu composite material by internal oxidation of deeply aluminized pure copper matrix has the prime specialty of thermal fatigue resistance. The specialty makes the Al2O3/Cu composite material by internal oxidation of deeply aluminized pure copper matrix is more fine to be the diathermanous copper material of metallurgical equipment in the high temperature service condition than the ageing and solution alloy of aluminized deeply pure copper.
