The Research Of Die Casting Magnesium Alloy

The research about die casting technology of the magnesium alloy mainly is done fromtwo aspects in this thesis. One is the protection of the melting magnesium alloy, and the otheris the design of themagnesiumalloy mould frame. The thesis has discussed the various basic principles to prevent the magnesium alloyliquid oxide on the basis of the classification and capability of the magnesium and themagnesium alloy, and has introduced the strongpoint and shortcomings of various mixture gasprotection aspects. The new gas protection method of the melting magnesium alloy is very useful to controlthe oxidation of the magnesium alloy melting, reducing pollution to the environment,thorough change the face of trade, realizing green production, and raise the quality ofmagnesium alloy. This method has great economic performance and society beneficial result,and has the vast application foreground. The experiment casts under different gas, differentration, different temperature and operating condition, compare the result of experiment andverified the protection capability of 1,1,1,2-tetrafluoroethane , and try to get the besttechnology , and get the suitable protection technology, improvement device .Through X'sdiffraction analysis of the protection film, the theoryof gas protection is certificated. The design of die casting is a very complicated course, and the application ofCAD/CAE/CAM's technology has overcome many shortcomings, which has greatly raised thecompetition power of enterprise. But the application of CAD is on base of the mould frame,and the standardization can shortened the production cycle, organize specialization production,promote the commercial, and also can put the mould CAD into reality. This thesis is be baseon the characteristics of the magnesium alloy mould design, and have designed the push rodtype, the push board type, the core type three mould frame series. And using theparameterization function of PRO/E software build those three mould frame series and thenew country standard die casting part. The designed mould frame standard is useful toconfirmed the change of product and new product development speed, reduce the cost, raisesproduct competition.
