Combined the basic theory research of adsorption characteristic and experimental determination, this article researches the surface property and structure characteristics of coal and detailedly analyzes the adsorption theory and influencing factors. It also analyzes the relation between the aperture gap system of the coal and adsorption characteristic according to the data getting from the experiment. The research indicates that the apertures of coal are continuous and complete aperture gap system which comprised from micropore to macropore in coal. The micropores in coal are possessed of sizable proportion, which has primary effect to adsorption quality of coal. The article also researches other questions such as: the determinating of dead space, whether the adsorption isotherm according with the desorption isotherm.Through large numbers of determination of adsorption isotherm of coal of different metamorphic grade under the different moisture content, combining the data fitting, the article educes the correction coefficient which moisture of coal affects the methane's adsorptive capacity at last. Comparing it with primary coal sample, the author finds that the correction coefficient is exact and suitable.
