Oil blending is one of the processes in which all kinds of the oil-products are produced. By introducing many advanced technologies of gasoline blending into the long-term development planning, product schedule and on-line control, we reached the goal of making full use of the blend components and obtaining rather considerable economic benefit.Experiments have been carried out to blend gasoline by using oil samples, and the models of gasoline blending have been obtained to evaluate the quality of the gasoline in the long-term development planning of Jinzhou Copmany. The main contents of this thesis are as follows:1.According to the development of gasoline blending, its modeling achievements and optimization methods existing till now, the research progress was overviewed. 2.Four types of models for gasoline blending including Morris' promoted model, Zahed empirical formulas, Twu-Coon method and the neural network model, were studied and compared.3.Coefficient of Zahed empirical formulas was proposed, models of gasoline blending in this study were obtained, and evaluation of the octane number was carried out.4.A study of gasoline product in Jinzhou Copmany was carried out, and differences of the gasoline quality between Jinzhou Company and other companies at home and abroad were compared.5.The plan of promoting gasoline quality for Jinzhou Company from 2004 to 2008 was proposed, the optimization methods were compared, and then the development planning of gasoline quality was provided.
