The key of the super-critical boiler manufacturing is developing theheat-resisting steel with good high-temperature creep rupture strength andprocess performance. T91/P91 steel is a new type heat-resisting steel used forboiler developed overseas in recent years. T91/P91 is main candidate steel indeveloping Chinese supercritical power generating unit. At present, research ofT91 steel in China is developing from introducing and accepting foreigntechnique to autonomous development. By theory and testing, this paper evaluates mechanical property of T91/P91steel's welding joint under normal and high temperature, and analyzes weldingcrack sensitivity of T91 steel's heat-affecter zone. Those results supply referencefor design and strength computation in power station and technical basis forT91/P91 steel pipe testing in generating station.
