In recent years, composite materials are more and more used in our lives, especially in the area of aeronautics and astronautics. At the same time, people have raised much more interesting to the problem of EMC. As the composite material is often made into the shells of equipment, it is important to research the shielding performance of composite material. In this paper, the CFRP material is concerned. Firstly, a FDTD scheme is obtained from the time-dependent Maxwell's equations using the Yee algorithm in a calculation region that the dielectric parameters are independent of time. the choice of the space increment and the time increment is discussed which is motivated by the reasons of accuracy and stability. Also, the R-FDTD method, an improvement of FDTD method is introduced. Then, we give the equations of the surface impendence of composite material and expatiate how to implement in FDTD method. Next, the vector fitting method is talked to transfer the surface impedance from the frequency domain into time domain. At last, numerical examples are given by using the said algorithm.
