This article describes a method of how to improve the quality of low-carbon wires.Here summarizes the latest technology development of low-carbon wire in the domestic, discusses the principles and methods had been used to improve the quality of low-carbon wire. Furthermore points out the main presently problems existed in its research, development and production at present in our country.According to the great quantity of statistic data analysis of low-carbon wires produced by Xinjiang Bayi steel corporation, we found the reasons that the bad wire quality resulted in composition, purity, temperature control and product technologies. In case of all above-mentioned given techniques, three methods were adopted to add ieoalloy element, improve the purity of molten steel, optimize rolling techniques and cooling speeed.The tests were carried out in Xinjiang Bayi company. By comparing and discussing, the result shows that three times test can all improve its quality differently. The results implied that the way of optimizing billet temperature and product technology is reasonable and effective. By means of adding alloy element to prevent it from becoming performance with time goes .To add the element of Ti and B can control the phenomena which is its performance becomes with time going. It also can popularize to other wire-making plant in our country. It is valuable to the similar industry for reference.
