From the static experiments, the adsorptionprocess was divided into two stages, the reaction speed constant variation range withincreasing of temperature was figured out in respectively. The speed constant variationrange for Zn(CN)42- and Cu(CN)32- was 2.49×10-23.38×10-2 and 3.37×10-24.9×10-2 respectively in the first stage; The speed constant variation range for Zn(CN)42- andCu(CN)32- was 6.056×10-58.127×10-5 and 7.876×10-5l.226×10-4 respectively in thesecond stage. The total static adsorption ratio was up to 96%97%. The desorption ratiowas over 99% with acidic strippant and up to 70%80% with alkali strippant. Theenthalpy change of adsorption process were gained are 31.162 KJ/mol and0.072 KJ/mol respectively in the Zn(CN)42- and Cu(CN)32- adsorption. The results showthat the adsorption is endergonic process, so t rising emperature will promote the process. This will further lay the theory basis for the application of ion-exchange resin method. The optimal conditions of the process obtained are: the pH value between 10 to 11; room temperature; static stirring time 60 minutes and resin dosage are five times that of the theoretical amount. The optimal conditions for the static desorption process were stirring 30 minutes; acid strippant (0.5% H2SO4) and room temperature. These results are very significant not only to the scientific and tecnichal advance of gold industry but also to resource integrated reuse and environmental protection. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | ion-exchange resin, cyanide, kinetics, thermodynamics, adsorption, desorption | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
