At present, the existing problems of subsidence process in our country's sugar mills are the long retention time of juice in subsider, which easy to cause the sucrose inverted resulting in much loss of sucrose, and the worse quality of clarified juice, the less density of mud juice. All these have influenced product quality and sucrose recovery to some extent. So how to raise subsidence velocity further and reduce the time of staying in the subsider of sugarcane juice is one of the main subjects of improving the technologies in sulfitation process.Based on the relation between subsidence velocity and flocculation effect of flocculant ,this paper studied the possibility of pipeline type turbulence flocculator using in realizing the second factor which affecting flocculation effect — the equipment's dynamic condition ,in order to reach the turbulence flocculating, give full play to the flocculation actionof the flocculant , strengthen the subsidence process. Compared to the effect of traditional technology flocculating, experimental results showed that pipeline type turbulence flocculator can not only strengthen subsidence process obviously, but also improve greatly other indexes of clarifying result. So we think the pipeline type turbulence flocculator can totally be used to strengthen subsidence process in sugar factories, which have huge economic benefits ,wide development prospect and value to popularize. The main research contents are as follows:1.The mechanism of turbulence flocculation in juice.2. Structure design and flocculating process.of the pipeline type turbulence flocculator.3.The application of pipeline type turbulence flocculator in sulfitation process, subsidence velocity, filtration velocity, purified juice apparent purity and colour, reducing sugar, calcium salt content and water insoluble matter were determined.4.To compare and analyze the effect between pipeline turbulence flocculating and traditional technology flocculating .
